Important School Operations Update (March 16, 2020)


This is the Principal of Gateway School, Dr. Christopher Hoye.

We recognize that almost all of our sending districts are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Starting tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2020 Gateway School will also close to students and move our instruction to our Virtual Distance Learning Plan.  Teachers and support staff have sent home learning materials and instructions to access our on-line curriculum materials.  If you have not received materials, or need any assistance in accessing on-line materials, please call Gateway tomorrow at 732-541-4400.  Staff will be at school starting at 9:00 AM.

Be advised that if your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch, your home district will be providing meals at this time. Please contact your local school district, or case manager for further details.

During this time should you and your family require additional support please do not hesitate to contact us. You can communicate with your child’s classroom teacher, any staff member that also works with your child, or me directly. My email is
