Special Education Teachers: Attractive Signing Bonus Available!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, individualized daily lesson plans
  • Design and maintain effective behavior management programs in collaboration with support staff
  • Train, supervise, and guide assigned teacher aides
  • Organize and maintain classroom materials and communicate instructional needs to the administration
  • Maintain professional and consistent communication with parents/guardians
  • Complete DLM assessments for identified students as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Principal

Qualifications

  • New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) Certification and NJ Elementary K–6 Certification or NJ Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH)
  • Experience working with students with autism, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities strongly preferred
