Back to School at the Gateway School-NJ special needs school

Greetings Parents and Families:

We are excited to be back for the 2017-2018 school year at Gateway School. As we embark on another year, we are always looking for new ways to best serve the needs of our students and their families. That being said, Gateway School is collaborating with IBT, the Institute for Behavioral Training. Presently multiple staff members are receiving training toward Registered Behavioral Technician/RBT certification.

Part of our partnership with IBT affords us the opportunity to offer additional training and education to you, the families and care givers of our students. A list of training services is listed below. All training would be of no cost to you and you would be able to complete from the comfort of your own home through your own computer, tablet, or any internet access. If you are interested and would like to register or would like more information regarding this opportunity, please contact our main office at 732-541-4400.

We are eager to continue providing your children with an exceptional education and services. We value the relationships with our families and strive to collaborate for the benefit of each student.
Training and education are available for the following:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder/ASD
  • Behavioral Intervention
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
  • Discrete Trial
  • Communication and Socialization
  • Self-Care
  • Toileting and Eating Issues
  • Preparation for in-home care and services
  • School Readiness

Thank you,

Dr. Christopher Hoye, Principal
