“Cooking Matters” in ESY!
Ms. G. has continued our “Cooking Matters” program during our six weeks of ESY. Gateway has formed a wonderful relationship with this program to bring nutrition, cooking, and kitchen skills to our students. Students have made “ants on a log”, “banana crunch”, and “trail mix” while learning about nutrition and food safety. Every student has had a chance to participate on their own level thanks to Ms. G’s individualized classes. A THANK YOU to NJ-SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) for their guidance and zoom classes. We have developed a wonderful partnership with them for additional projects.
