Commemorating 9/11

Gateway students commemorated 9/11 at the most appropriate level for each class. The youngest students made flags and learned a little about the planes hitting the towers. Our middle school students talked about heroes. The high school students made models and learned more specific details about how the events of that day affected the world. Our creative teachers always look for the best avenue to teach our students about historic events in a way they can best understand!
