The Gateway ADL  kitchen (Activities of Daily Living) has been busy!  Cooking activities address so many important areas such as nutrition education, following a recipe, math skills, and using kitchen equipment safely.  Cooperation and listening skills contribute to improved social skills. Spring Planting in Room 206!

Ms. Leonard’s students have been busy planting! Each student was able to plant and water their own starter seeds. They learned about the materials they would need and followed the steps. You can see in the pictures how hard they worked! We will update you on the results after their flowers and radishes sprout!
