April was a busy month at Gateway School! We celebrated the start of Autism Awareness month by wearing blue, the opening day of baseball season, and Administrative Assistants Day. Classes participated in spring/Easter activities, and we encouraged positive behaviors. All of our activities have goals for important skills; social, motor, and leisure skills, following directions, team spirit and working cooperatively, and encouraging and reinforcing appropriate behaviors.
