All students work on important life skills to make them as independent as possible.
Shoe tying can be a challenge, but the OT used a step-by-step approach for success. First, they used a sneaker with two different color laces to help with differentiation. After many practice sessions, the student moved onto his own sneaker with same-colored laces. Lastly, tying with success! That smile says it all – what a confidence builder! Great Job!
